The completely renovated Portuguese cottage Casa Pauline (45 m2) is a delightfully comfortable and luxurious self-catered holiday home with two bedrooms and a shared swimming pool for 1-2 people in a Mediterranean garden in the Algarve, Portugal.

What does Casa Pauline offer?
The cottage is renovated in Portuguese style with the well-known authentic Portuguese details. Suitable for young and old, also suitable for small families, remote workers, and winter visitors.

Due to the high wooden ceilings and many windows, the holiday home appears light and spacious. It has a view of the sea, its own private Mediterranean garden facing south, and the neighbor's olive grove.

Air conditioning and floor cooling in summer and comfortable underfloor heating and a cozy wood stove in winter. The original handmade Portuguese Santa Catarina floor tiles are on the floor.

From the cozy living room, you have access to the largest bedroom, the bathroom, and the second small bedroom. 

Kitchen
This is equipped with an oven, induction hob, extractor hood, small two-person dishwasher, wine fridge, coffee maker, kettle, toaster, kitchen linen, tableware, cutlery, and a separate large refrigerator. And of course all the necessities for cooking.  

Bathroom
The bathroom consists of a vanity unit with sink. The Portuguese tiles on the floor are handmade by an 83-year-old local craftsman.

Of course, with modern underfloor heating for winter! A rain shower with hand shower, vanity unit, and toilet complete the bathroom. 

Living room
In it you will find two comfortable armchairs, a three-seater velour sofa, coffee table with marble and glass, and a modern rug.

You can eat at the wooden dining table with four compact handmade dining chairs in linen look. And not to forget the cozy wood stove, the firewood is already ready.

Large bedroom
This consists of a handmade luxury box spring with buttoned headboard and a 21 cm high hotel quality medium firmness mattress of 180cmx200cm and a topper.

A wardrobe, a chest of drawers, air conditioning, and French doors to the private spacious garden. The bathrobes and bath towels are ready for you!

Small bedroom
This consists of a single bed bench (can be pulled out into a double bed) with a good quality mattress.

Also, a hanging section for your clothes and a well-stocked bookcase. A baby cot can also be placed next to a single bed.

Garden
The large private Mediterranean garden with terrace is equipped with a parasol, lounge set to relax outside. There is a terrace and parking space both at the front and side of the house. 

Communal garden
In the communal young Mediterranean garden, there are mainly plants from the Algarve such as yuccas, cacti, and succulents. But palms, cypresses, and fruit trees are also present. 

In this garden, you will also find the large gas barbecue where you can barbecue to your heart's content. A jeu de boules court will be added in the future.

Shared swimming pool
Finally, the 10 by 4-meter saltwater swimming pool. Large enough to swim a few laps or relax on the bench in the water with a glass. 

Wintering
When the sun is not shining, it is still wonderful to stay!

Interior
Together with Belgian designers from Concept X Interiors from the neighboring town of Olhao, our three accommodations have been furnished. We are super enthusiastic about the result.

The paintings hanging in our holiday homes are made by the Dutch artist Chantal van Leeuwen. She works and lives in the Algarve.

Casa Florine is a modern, luxurious and hotel chic self-catered holiday home of 40 m2, for 1-2 people with a shared swimming pool at Boutique Hotel Guesthouse-Moncarapacho in the eastern Algarve, Portugal.

The holiday accommodation is equipped with all comforts and offers views of the spacious Mediterranean garden and beautiful olive grove of the neighbors. From the terrace, you can even see the sea!

What does Casa Florine offer?
A delightful spacious and bright house with wooden herringbone tiles, a comfortable English model two-seater sofa with beautiful print, a compact gold-colored armchair, two side tables with marble tops.

Due to the high wooden ceiling and many windows, it feels light and spacious. A large air conditioning unit is present to cool the entire space.

Kitchen
The spacious luxury kitchen is equipped with an oven, induction hob with extractor hood, small two-person dishwasher, wine cooler, coffee maker, kettle, toaster, refrigerator and freezer. 

And of course all the necessities for cooking, kitchen linen, tableware and cutlery. The dining area is spacious with a cozy round mineral-coating dining table and 4 handmade gold-colored custom chairs.

Bedroom
The sleeping area is equipped with a handmade box spring with upholstered headboard, 21 cm high hotel quality medium firmness mattress 180x200 cm.

Next to the bed are two gold-colored metal and marble nightstands. A spacious built-in wardrobe and opening doors to your private garden/terrace. 

Bathroom
Adjacent to the sleeping area is the luxury bathroom. This is equipped with a walk-in shower with hand shower, toilet, mirror and marble bathroom furniture. The marble comes from Portugal and is made by a local craftsman.

Bath and bed linen are available, as well as comfortable bathrobes and large beach towels for the pool and/or beach. 

Garden
The large private Mediterranean garden with terrace is equipped with a parasol and cozy seating.

Communal Garden
In the communal young Mediterranean garden, there are mainly plants from the Algarve such as yuccas, cacti and succulents. Palms, cypresses and fruit trees are also present.

In this garden you will also find the large gas barbecue where you can barbecue to your heart's content. A jeu de boules court will be added in the future.

Swimming Pool
Finally, the saltwater swimming pool of 10 by 4 meters. Large enough to swim a few laps or relax on the bench in the water with a glass.

If you want to work remotely during your stay at Guesthouse-Moncarapacho in addition to relaxing, you can do so with us. We provide a good office chair and good WiFi.

Overwintering
Casa Florine is very suitable for longer stays. Lovely underfloor heating and many windows where the sunlight can shine in beautifully.

What does Casa Celine offer?
A cozy living room with a fireplace that gives direct access to the covered terrace (20m2) with an outdoor kitchen, long dining table with 4 chairs and shared swimming pool.

A comfortable lounge sofa and a cozy round dining table with four comfortable chairs adjacent to the open kitchen. 

The kitchen is equipped with an induction hob with integrated extractor, dishwasher, oven, wine cooler, coffee maker, toaster, kettle and large American fridge-freezer. And of course all the necessary utensils for cooking, kitchen linen and tableware and cutlery.

In the hall you will find a toilet, the utility room with washing machine and dryer and the passage to the spacious bedroom. This consists of a double bed with topper, clothes rack, wardrobe with drawers, air conditioning and French doors to the garden and sea view.

The luxurious bathroom has a walk-in shower with hand shower, bathroom furniture and second toilet with hand shower.  Bath and bed linen are provided, as well as comfortable bathrobes and large beach towels for swimming pool and/or beach.

From the garden you can go up the stairs to the roof terrace and enjoy a beautiful view of the ocean. The accommodation is equipped with underfloor heating and a fireplace for winter and automatic air conditioning and floor cooling for summer. 

Communal Garden
The communal garden is equipped with comfortable sun loungers and a parasol. It mainly consists of Mediterranean plants and trees, and of course the orange trees that our area is known for are not missing.

Casa Felix, 1-2 person hotel room

Casa Felix is a spacious hotel room including breakfast. We serve this on the (roof) terrace or by the swimming pool in our young Mediterranean garden. Lovely, isn't it?  

Casa Felix has limited availability, can be rented for a maximum of 1-6 days, only during the summer months and can only be booked one month before arrival via our booking system. If you want to book earlier, let us know by email.

What does Casa Felix offer?
It consists of a cozy seating area, a spacious double bed with its own luxury bathroom, sea view and access to the shared swimming pool. Suitable for 1-2 people.

The seating area by the window with a view of the Atlantic Ocean consists of two comfortable chairs and a small table. 

The high wooden ceiling and windows give this room a light and spacious feel. It has automatic air conditioning and floor cooling in the summer. 

The bedroom is equipped with a box spring mattress of 180x200 cm with a topper. Adjacent to the sleeping area is the luxury and spacious bathroom. This has a walk-in shower with hand shower, toilet, mirror and design sink.

Bath and bed linen are provided, as well as comfortable bathrobes and large beach towels for the pool and/or beach. 

On the covered terrace by the swimming pool you will find coffee and tea facilities in the outdoor kitchen. 

Who is Casa Felix suitable for?
For people who land at Faro airport and want to relax for a few days, or are passing through to Seville or traveling around Portugal, this hotel room is perfect. And of course for guests who cannot immediately stay in one of the three other accommodations, for 1-2 people.

Resort Guesthouse Moncarapacho, 1-8 person Villa

In the summer months, you can rent our entire small-scale, luxury Boutique Hotel Guesthouse-Moncarapacho with a swimming pool to celebrate your holiday with family or friends in the beautiful eastern Algarve. The sea with its long wide beaches is less than 8 km away.

Our Guesthouse is located in the countryside on an unpaved road - just outside the village of Moncarapacho - with views of the Atlantic Ocean and the fishing village of Fuseta, the Ria Formosa nature reserve, and our neighbors' olive grove.

Festive offer
Since we are finally open all year round for the first time, we would like to offer our guests, on weekdays, an extra delicious breakfast! Relaxed, right?

This festive offer in 2026 is valid for (returning) guests who book directly with us. Unfortunately, this does not apply to guests who book with a discount or via other platforms.

What does the entire Guesthouse offer?
The three self-catered holiday homes (170m2) with their own terraces, suitable for 1 to 8 people, are tastefully and luxuriously furnished by Belgian designers ConceptX Interiors from neighboring Olhão.

Enjoy the warm colors, soft fabrics, marble, and shiny gold, but especially the comfortable chairs, sofas, and box spring beds.

The interior and decoration/paintings by artist Chantal van Leeuwen are perfectly matched to each other.

The kitchens are luxuriously equipped with an induction hob, oven, refrigerator, wine cooler, and dishwasher. Would you like a delicious breakfast on the terrace of your accommodation every day? Or occasionally enjoy a dinner prepared by us? Let us know when booking which arrangement you would like to use.

Casa Florine and Casa Celine are each suitable for a maximum of 2 people. Casa Pauline has an extra (small) bedroom, making it suitable for a small family. A baby cot can be placed in the spacious bedroom of Casa Celine if needed.
