Cancellation conditions

Cancellation Policy 2024-10

1. Regular cancellation

  1. Cancellation must be made in writing or by email to info@guesthouse-moncarapacho.com
  2. The following costs are associated with a cancellation:
    1. For cancellation of a booked short stay (<28 days)
      1. Up to 8 weeks before the arrival date: 50% of the total rental amount.
      2. From 8 weeks to 2 weeks before arrival date: 75% of the total rental amount.
      3. Within 2 weeks before the arrival date: 100% of the total rental amount.
    2. For cancellation of a booked long stay/wintering (=>28 days)
      1. ​Up to 6 months before the arrival date: 50% of the total rental amount.
      2. From 6 months to 8 weeks before arrival date: 75% of the total rental amount.
      3. Within 8 weeks before the arrival date: 100% of the total rental amount.

2. Cancellation by Boutique Guesthouse Moncarapacho

  1. In the event of force majeure, whether permanent or temporary, Boutique Guesthouse Moncarapacho is entitled to terminate the agreement in whole or in part or to temporarily suspend it without the guest being able to claim performance and/or compensation:
  2. Force majeure includes, but is not limited to: threat of war, war, uprising, molestation, strikes, boycotts, disruptions in the energy circuit, in traffic or transport, government measures, shortages of raw materials, natural disasters and all extraordinary weather conditions.
  3. Death of one of the owners or close relatives etc. under which full or partial compliance with the agreement cannot reasonably and fairly be required of Boutique Guesthouse Moncarapacho. This also applies in the event of termination of the business and/or sale of the property.

3. Substitution

  1. If the reservation is transferred to a third party, the booker must report this by email to info@guesthouse-moncarapacho.com at least 3 days before the start of the stay
  2. For processing the transfer, Boutique Guesthouse Moncarapacho will charge a change fee of Euro 50.00.
  3. Amounts already paid will be considered by Boutique Guesthouse Moncarapacho as having been paid by the acquiring party. The transferring and acquiring parties must further arrange this among themselves.

We always advise you to take out good travel and/or cancellation insurance.
