The location is unique
Our Boutique Hotel with three self-catered holiday homes and hotel services is located on a quiet spot -just outside the village of Moncarapacho- with views of the Atlantic coast and the Ria Formosa nature reserve.
With the sea 8 kilometers away and the typical Portuguese rural surroundings with orange and olive trees, markets and old authentic villages make the holiday feeling complete.
The various islands off the coast have beautiful beaches and can be reached by taxi-boats. Walking, birdwatching, golfing, mountain biking, surfing, paddleboarding, sailing, yoga, swimming, wine tasting, a range of activities to do.

Besides arrival, you will find a cozy tapas platter with Portuguese delicacies and in your wine cooler there is a lovely local wine waiting for you.
Large bath towels and comfortable bathrobes are ready for you. Your stay is refreshed daily and your towels replaced.

Our story
We are Maarten and Celina Schiphorst-Ongenae from the Netherlands, now retired but not yet ready to sit behind the geraniums.
That's why we turned things around and started a small-scale luxury guesthouse with hotel services in eastern Algarve, Portugal.
Guests bring excitement into our retired life. How nice is it to share this Mediterranean lifestyle here in Portugal with our friends, family and guests from all over the world!
