The location is unique
Our small-scale Boutique Guesthouse with three self-catered holiday homes and hotel services is located at a rustic spot - within walking distance of the village of Moncarapacho - with views of the Atlantic coast and the Ria Formosa nature reserve.
With the sea 8 kilometers away and the typical Portuguese rural surroundings with orange and olive trees, markets and old authentic villages make the holiday feeling complete.
The various islands off the coast have beautiful beaches and can be reached by taxi boats. Hiking, birdwatching, golfing, mountain biking, surfing, SUPing, sailing, yoga, swimming, wine tasting, a range of activities to do.

In the peaceful and rural surroundings, we are happy to provide you with a relaxed stay. As a guest of our Boutique Guesthouse, we would like to offer you that little bit extra.
Upon arrival, you will find a cozy tapas board with Portuguese delicacies and in your wine cooler, a delicious local wine is waiting for you.
Large bath towels and comfortable bathrobes are ready for you. Your stay will be refreshed in between and your towels replaced.
About us
We are Maarten and Celina Schiphorst-Ongenae from the Netherlands, now retired and by no means ready to sit back and do nothing.
That's why we decided to turn over a new leaf and start a small-scale luxury guesthouse in eastern Algarve, Portugal.
