To make your stay at Boutique Guesthouse-Moncarapacho as pleasant and easy as possible, we have compiled the necessary (housekeeping) information in writing.

You are welcome to check into your holiday accommodation from 4:00 pm. If you would like to arrive earlier, this is possibly by appointment. Please note: early check-in is only possible after payment confirmation to prevent double bookings.

Rates are as follows:

Arrival after 1:00 pm: 50% of the nightly rate minus any discount code.

Arrival before 1:00 pm: 100% of the nightly rate minus any discount code.

Beach towels, pool towels, bath towels, kitchen linen, bed linen, bathrobes, and a hairdryer are included in your stay. This saves you valuable suitcase space!

In addition to blogs and information on this website, we have compiled a Digital Newsletter for our guests.

You can find the QR code for the WIFI in the living room of your accommodation.

Cleaning is included and provided twice a week: upon arrival, mid-week, and again at departure. The bed will be made mid-week, the kitchen and bathroom refreshed, towels changed, and for stays longer than 10 days, your bed linens will be changed.

Our accommodations are furnished with beautiful warm fabrics that we and our guests want to enjoy for a long time. There are blankets in the cottage to protect the sofa and chairs.

When renting to families with children, the sofas and chairs are automatically covered with blankets.

In the summer months, it can get very hot in the Algarve.

Each cottage has air conditioning. Please only use it when you are present in your holiday accommodation.

Due to the dryness, there is a water shortage in the Algarve during the summer months. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation.

Our cottages are well-insulated and have the highest energy label. During the winter, there is underfloor heating in the accommodation. Casa Pauline and Casa Celine also have a wood-burning stove.

Please keep doors and windows closed during the day, curtains open to let the sun's warmth enter.

If you'd like to enjoy a good book during your stay, there is a selection in the bookshelf at Casa Pauline and Casa Celine.

You will find large and small bath towels in the bathroom. We replace towels and kitchen linen as needed. Please place them on the floor in the bathroom. Fresh towels are provided during the mid-week cleaning.

Our three self-catered accommodations are fully equipped.

You will find a small wine cooler in the kitchen. A delicious local wine awaits you there. Enjoy!

For your convenience, there is a two-person dishwasher. Dishwashing tablets and trash bags are provided.

If you wish to use the barbecue, you can do so in the shared garden by the pool.

Casa Pauline has a second (smaller) bedroom. Please let us know if you would like to use it as well.

A crib, changing pad, potty, and high chair are available in Casa Pauline. Please let us know what you need for your child(ren), and we will provide it.

Portugal, especially in rural areas, is one of the safest countries to live in.

The national emergency number here is 112, or you can call iMergencies.

For safety reasons, there is an electric cover on the pool. If children are staying in Casa Pauline, we will keep the cover closed as a precaution unless we are present.

Children without swimming certificates must wear armbands around and in the pool.

For safety and tranquility, children may only use the shared pool with their parents.

If you are expecting visitors during your stay, please let us know in advance via our shared WhatsApp group.

If you would like your visitors to stay overnight in your accommodation, this is only possible if we have agreed on it in writing via the group WhatsApp or email. The cost per person per night is 35 euros excluding tourist tax. They will also be registered with the SEF (border control) like any other guest.

Minor maintenance in the accommodation may be necessary from time to time. This will be done as much as possible during your absence. We will inform you in the group app unless it is an emergency.

Our Guesthouse is located in the middle of nature. Please take this into consideration.

Do not leave garbage bags outside and ensure the kitchen is always clean to avoid attracting pests.

Our Guesthouse is not connected to the sewer system. To prevent blockages, we ask that you only deposit toilet paper in the toilet.

In Portugal, especially during the summer period, it is forbidden to light a fire due to the dryness.

Smoking
Smoking is not allowed inside your accommodation or by the pool. Smoking is permitted on your private terrace.

We kindly ask you to vacate the accommodation by 10:00 am so that we can prepare it for the next guests. If you wish to stay longer, this is possible if no other guests are arriving that day. We will block the booking calendar for that day. Rates for extending your stay:

Departure until 3:00 pm: 50% of the nightly rate minus any discount code.

Departure after 3:00 pm: 100% of the nightly rate minus any discount code.

Please note: extending your stay is only possible after confirmation of this additional payment to prevent double bookings.

If you cannot stay longer in your accommodation, we can store your luggage in a locked cabinet or room until you depart.

Please leave the accommodation clean and tidy upon departure.

There is a guestbook in the accommodation for you to jot down your experiences of the area and/or restaurant tips for future guests, if you'd like to.
