Visit the seaside resort of Vilamoura

The seaside resort of Vilamoura is a half hour drive from our Boutique Guesthouse-Moncarapacho. It is a deliberately constructed holiday resort with a marina by a wealthy banker from Lisbon. Vilamoura is surrounded by beautiful beaches and golf courses.

This “splendor and pomp” and “seeing and being seen” we do not know ourselves in the eastern Algarve. Our Guesthouse is located in the middle of a nature reserve and in the countryside with simple farming villages.

But how nice is it to visit the luxurious Vilamoura and have a drink at the harbour, have lunch and visit the many shops.

Your eyes will pop out of your head! By the way, you don't have to be able to speak Portuguese, the main language is more or less English😅🤣

That's what I like about the Algarve. In a short time you imagine yourself in a completely different world and you are also quickly at home again!
