Wintering at Boutique Hotel Guesthouse-Moncarapacho in the Algarve😎

Did you know that the Algarve, in southern Portugal, has the highest number of sunshine hours in winter?

We have beautiful memories of wintering here in the Algarve. Around 10 a.m. we have breakfast in the sunshine and return inside by half‑past four when the sun sets. Then it gets truly colder and it feels cozier inside.

We also enjoy lunch outside in the sunshine on the terrace in Olhao or in our own village Moncarapacho. A thick coat is really not necessary, but many layers!

Many winterers enjoy the pleasant temperature during this time of year, so there is always a lively buzz in restaurants and shops.

As a winterer you can participate in various activities in the surrounding area. Think of yoga, golf, painting courses, Portuguese lessons, gym, walking trips and also enjoy massages, beauty treatments!

If you want to winter at our Guesthouse in the East Algarve, you can do so from November to March. At a winter rate, you stay in a stunning holiday home with underfloor heating and a wood stove. Luxury and comfort like home! And less than 8 kilometres from the beach 😎
