Sailing in the Eastern Algarve

Our Boutique Guesthouse-Moncarapacho overlooks the Atlantic Ocean. Enjoy the sun, sea and beach but also sail between the islands.

You can actually compare our area with the Wadden area. Various islands can be reached by many different boats and boats.

Friends once invited us to go sailing with their boat. We enjoyed it so much. And we also had a delicious lunch in a fish restaurant (reservation required) on the island of Culatra.

No friends with a boat? Then there are plenty of other options😄😅 For example, for the sporty ones there are kayaks and sups for rent.

And from the seaside villages ferries and water taxis leave to take you to one of the islands. The ferry takes a bit longer but in the sun on the upper deck that is no punishment. And for the few euros that a return ticket costs you do not have to leave it!

You can also rent a boat with a captain who will show you the nice spots on the various islands and the beautiful nature reserve Ria Formosa.
