IEmergenies Care, aid organization in Moncarapacho, Algarve, Portugal

Since May 2021, Boutique Guesthouse-Moncarapacho has been affiliated with iMergencies Care, an aid organization for extra security and safety. They ensure that foreigners who do not have a good command of Portuguese are helped quickly and adequately in (often) their own native language. So instead of the national emergency number 112, affiliated customers like us can call the local number of iMergencies.

iMergencies was founded about 10 years ago by a Dutchman and a Portuguese. Their office is here in our village Moncarapacho and can be reached 24/7 in case of emergency. Our (medical) data is with them and they know exactly where we live.

They work together with local and regional emergency services such as police, fire brigade and ambulance. In addition, iMergencies uses an advanced process to obtain the exact route to our home and pass this on directly to the alerted emergency service. It is here that street names and house numbers are very difficult to find without the correct GPS coordinates.

For this service iMergencies Tourist Care we are extra insured. Through a separate guest code they also provide assistance to future guests of Boutique Guesthouse-Moncarapacho who have gotten into trouble due to illness or an accident.

In the rental accommodation you will find a special (guest) code and the direct number of IMergencies. They will then know immediately where you are.

It is also possible to request a personal reporter through us. For example, if you are on the beach and you become unwell, they will immediately know where you are! Read more on their own website IMergencies .
