For seniors, alone or together, our comfortable, luxurious and small-scale Boutique Guesthouse-Moncarapacho with two holiday homes in the eastern Algarve, Portugal is extremely suitable.
Health and safety
Going on holiday abroad alone, being older or having health issues can be exciting. We therefore consider it important that our guests feel safe and at home with us.
Going on vacation alone can sometimes be a challenge. Whether you're a bit older or have health issues, it can often be daunting to travel. What if something happens to you on your vacation?

The accommodations
Our cottage Casa Pauline is on the ground floor and is located at the level of the parking lot. However, if you want to go to the pool, it is only accessible via an outdoor staircase.
Casa Florine is also ground floor and equipped with all amenities but is only accessible via a wide outdoor staircase.
Host and hostess
We live on the premises ourselves in Casa Celine during the winter and are available 24/7. Not only for questions or problems but also for a chat or a drink.
General Practitioner
Our knowledgeable and sympathetic Dutch general practitioner lives and works in a village further away in a health centre. In our own village, two dentists are active. There is also a large pharmacy, and in the neighbouring village of Fuseta, there is a good physiotherapist.
iMergencies Care
We are affiliated with iMergencies Care and for our guests with iMergencies Tourist Care. They ensure that foreigners who are not fluent in Portuguese are quickly and adequately assisted in (often) their native language.
Upon arrival, you will find two cards with phone numbers that you can call in case of emergency. For example, in case of breakdown, theft, medical problems, etc. Read more about emergencies in here .
Activities
You can participate in the immediate area during your holiday in various types of activities such as yoga lessons, golf lessons, dancing, organized walks.
What there is to do in the area, we have put together for you as a guest in a digital newsletter so that you can easily set off during your stay with us.

Sea and Beach
The cozy fishing village Fuseta is 8 kilometers away from us. There is an inner beach with sun loungers, parasols and the sea is shallow and has no waves.
At restaurant Borda d'Aqua you can enjoy delicious food and drinks. The car park is just 100 meters away from this beach and it is wheelchair accessible.

Overwintering
The Algarve is known for its high number of sunshine hours per year. A large number of people from all over Europe spend the winter here. The great thing is that the villages around us are cozy and lively. Enjoying a delicious lunch outside in the sun - who wouldn't want that! Read more here.
Extra services
Think of a stocked fridge upon arrival, champagne in the room, arranging a taxi, etc. A massage, beauty treatments, yoga or golf lessons can also be arranged in advance for you. We love to do this for our guests.

Of course, we provide the first aid kit, fire extinguishers, carbon monoxide/gas alarms, motion detectors, and the like in the rental accommodation ourselves.
In short, it's a reassuring thought that a relaxing holiday here in Portugal is well organized, even in case of emergency!
