Our future luxurious and comfortable Boutique Guesthouse-Moncarapacho in the Algarve, Portugal is ideal for the elderly, together or alone. Going on holiday abroad when you are alone, older or have health problems can be quite exciting.
Health and safety
We think it is important that our guests feel safe and at home with us. Going on holiday alone is sometimes a challenge. Or if you are older or suffer from health problems, it is often exciting to travel. What if something happens to you on your holiday?
The accommodations
Our houses are equipped with all amenities, are safe and on one level. They will be designed taking into account people who have difficulty walking or are confined to a wheelchair.

Host and hostess
We live on site and are available 24/7. Not only for questions or problems, but also for a chat or a drink.
GP
Our skilled and sympathetic Dutch GP lives and works in a health center in a nearby village. There are two dentists working in our own village. There is also a large pharmacy.
iMergencies Care
We are affiliated with iMergencies Care and for our guests with iMergencies Tourist Care. They ensure that foreigners who do not have a good command of the Portuguese language are helped quickly and adequately in (often) their own mother tongue. Read more about iMergencies here .
Activities
During your holiday, you can participate in various types of activities in the immediate area, such as yoga lessons, golf lessons, dancing, organized walks.

Beach
The pleasant fishing village of Fuseta is 8 kilometers away from us. There is an indoor beach with sunbeds, parasols and the sea is shallow and has no waves. You can enjoy delicious food and drinks at the Aqua Borda restaurant. The car park is only 100 meters away from this beach and it is wheelchair accessible.

Overwintering
The Algarve is known for its high number of hours of sunshine per year. A large number of people from all over Europe spend the winter here. The nice thing is that the villages around us are cozy and lively. Enjoying lunch outside in the sun, who wouldn't want that!
Additional services
This includes a stocked refrigerator upon arrival, champagne in the room, hotel service every day, breakfast, arranging a taxi, airport pick-up. We can also arrange a massage, beauty treatments, yoga or golf lessons for you. Please let us know when you book what we can do for you.
Miscellaneous
Of course we provide our own first aid kit, fire extinguishers, carbon monoxide/gas alarm detectors, motion detectors and the like in the rental accommodation.
In short, it's a nice thought that a relaxing holiday here in Portugal is well organised, even in the event of an emergency!
