Health and safety
Going on holiday abroad when you're alone, a bit older, or have health issues can be quite daunting. We therefore believe it's important that our guests feel safe and at home with us.
Going on vacation alone can sometimes be a challenge. If you're a bit older or struggling with health issues, it can often be nerve-wracking to travel. What if something happens to you on vacation?

The accommodations
Our cottage, Casa Pauline, is safe and on one level. This accommodation is accommodating for guests with limited mobility or those confined to a wheelchair. The other two cottages , Casa Florine and Casa Celine, are also on one level and fully equipped, but are only accessible via an outside staircase.
Host and hostess
We live on site and are available 24/7. Not just for questions or problems, but also for a chat or a drink.
GP
Our knowledgeable and friendly Dutch GP lives and works in a nearby health center in a village. There are two dentists in our own village. There's also a large pharmacy, and a good physiotherapist in Fuseta.
iMergencies Care
We are affiliated with iMergencies Care, and for our guests, with iMergencies Tourist Care. They ensure that foreigners who do not have a good command of Portuguese receive prompt and adequate assistance in (often) their native language. Read more about iMergencies here .
Activities
During your holiday, you can participate in various activities in the immediate area, such as yoga classes, golf lessons, dancing, and organized walks.
We've compiled a digital newsletter for you as a guest listing all the things to do in the area, making it easy for you to get out and about during your stay with us.
If you'd like to participate in a specific activity or workshop, please let us know in advance. We'll make sure it's taken care of during your holiday!

Sea and Beach
The charming fishing village of Fuseta is 8 kilometers from us. There's a small inland beach with sunbeds and umbrellas, and the sea is shallow and wave-free. You can enjoy delicious food and drinks at the Borda d'Aqua restaurant. The parking lot is only 100 meters from this beach, and it is wheelchair accessible.

Overwintering
The Algarve is known for its abundant sunshine. A large number of people from all over Europe spend the winter here. The wonderful thing is that the surrounding villages are charming and lively. Who wouldn't want to enjoy a lovely lunch outdoors in the sunshine? Read more here .

This includes a stocked refrigerator upon arrival, champagne in your room, daily hotel service, breakfast, taxi arrangements, and airport pickup. We can also arrange massages, beauty treatments, yoga, or golf lessons for you in advance.

Of course, we provide first aid kits, fire extinguishers, carbon monoxide/gas alarms, motion detectors, etc. in the rental accommodation.
In short, it's a comforting thought that a relaxing holiday here in Portugal is well organised, even in case of emergency!
