visit the city of Faro.
Faro, the capital of the Algarve in Portugal, is less than half an hour away from our future Boutique Hotel Guesthouse-Moncarapacho. Known for its airport but less known as a charming historic city to visit!
Cozy streets with little restaurants, terraces and boutiques. And don't forget the rooftops where you can have a drink or meal with a view of the harbor of Faro and the Atlantic Ocean. From this harbor you can take a ferry or water taxi to the various nearby islands.
A recommendation is to take a walk through the city with Faro Free Walking Tours. Volunteers tell you about the history of Faro and the Algarve. We found it very interesting, just make a reservation!
From the fishing village Fuseta, overlooking our Guesthouse, you can also take a train to Faro. Great to do with the kids and you can step out into the city that way!
