Did you know that from Boutique Hotel Guesthouse-Moncarapacho it is only a two‑hour drive to the beautiful city of Seville in Spain?

Would you rather not cross the border with your (rental) car? Then you can also take the bus from Tavira in east Algarve, 20 km from us.

During the summer months, Seville is very hot and busy. We visited the city in November, and it was then cozy, busy, and lively. And above all, a great temperature to explore the city!

In Portugal you can eat delicious tapas in a few restaurants and have a tasty sangria. However, in Seville you can find a great tapas restaurant at almost every corner of the street. Enjoy!

Your eyes are wide open. So many historic buildings and beautiful squares. Seville is also called an 'open‑air museum'. The city is full of historic monuments, churches, parks and palm groves and remnants of various cultures.

And of course, like many other tourists, take a photo at the Meteropol Parasol by the letters SEVILLA. Definitely a real recommendation for this Spanish city!

PS don’t forget in your planning that Spain, like the Netherlands, is an hour later than Portugal!
