Did you know that, from Boutique Guesthouse-Moncarapacho, it's only a two-hour drive to the beautiful city of Seville in Spain? This city is closer than Lisbon!

If you'd prefer not to cross the border by car (rental or otherwise), you can also take the bus from Tavira in eastern Algarve, 20 km from us.

In the summer months, Seville is extremely hot and crowded. We visited the city in November; it was then pleasantly busy and vibrant. And especially with a great temperature to explore the city!

In Portugal, you can enjoy delicious tapas and a tasty sangria in several restaurants. However, in Seville, there's a good tapas restaurant on almost every street corner. Enjoy!

You'll be amazed by the number of historical buildings and beautiful squares. Seville is also known as an 'open-air museum'. The city is filled with historical monuments, churches, parks, palm gardens, and remnants of various cultures.

And of course, like many other tourists, take a photo at Metropole Parasol by the letters SEVILLA. Definitely a must-visit Spanish city!

Ps don't forget in your planning that it's an hour later in Spain, just like in the Netherlands, compared to Portugal!
