You can do walking, cycling, golf, paddle boarding, kayaking, kiting, swimming, yoga, petanque and many more activities near our future Boutique Guesthouse-Moncarapacho with two rental holiday homes, eastern Algarve in the south of Portugal. We are happy to show you what you can do in the area.

Golf
There are several golf courses in the immediate vicinity. With the Dutch golf pro, at the nearest golf course Benamor in Tavira, we can arrange golf lessons for you at all levels.

To walk
There are various apps with walks in the area. But you can also walk in groups. We have had a good experience with Kim and her company Walkim here in Moncarapacho. Walking in the beautiful nature and Kim provides a small snack in between.

Afterwards, everyone can join us for a meal in one of the typical Portuguese restaurants. You can find more information on her website .

Misuse
Portugal is not a cycling country like the Netherlands, nor is it as flat as the Netherlands. But nice cycling routes have been laid out everywhere that can be found on an app. Also for mountain bikers and on Sundays you can see the local cyclists making their rounds.

Bicycles can be rented in our village of Moncarapacho. The location of the bicycle shop is in the middle of the village near the square and the church. Let us know in advance when you want to rent a bicycle and we can contact them. This way we can ensure that your bicycle is already at your holiday home upon arrival!

Bike tour
If you would like to take a bike tour through the area with others, please let us know. Maria from our village has years of experience as a guide in arranging bicycle tours in the area.

Fitness center
There is a small gym in our village itself. Not comparable to the modern gyms you are used to in the Netherlands. Boxing is part of their offering. But it is sufficient and for a small amount each time you can still have a great time!

Jeu de Boules or Petanque
It's great to compete every now and then on our Jeu de Boules or Petanque court. The balls for this game can be found in the future holiday homes.

Kayaking and Kitesurfing
In Fuseta, the fishing village we are looking out at, but also in Olhao and Tavira you can take a tour with Kayak&Sup tours or with Roots kayak Rental&Tours on the Ria Formosa. It is also possible to take lessons or rent at Kite Culture Algarve in Fuseta.

Swimming
There will be a 9 by 4 meter swimming pool, large enough to swim some laps. Of course there is a relaxing bench in the water to enjoy a drink and chill. The luxurious sun loungers are ready to enjoy the sun.

There are no waves at Fuseta beach, which makes it great for swimming and therefore very suitable for small children. The beach is wheelchair accessible.
