The seaside resort of Vilamoura is a half-hour drive from our Boutique Guesthouse-Moncarapacho. It is a consciously designed recreational area with a marina, created by a wealthy banker from Lisbon. Vilamoura is surrounded by beautiful beaches and golf courses.

This "splendor and glory" and "see and be seen" place is not something we know in the eastern Algarve. Our Guesthouse is located in a nature reserve and in the countryside with simple rural villages.

But how fun it is to visit the luxurious Vilamoura once, have a drink at the harbor, lunch, and visit the many shops.

You'll be amazed! By the way, you don't need to speak Portuguese, the main language is English.

That's what I love about the Algarve. In a short time, you find yourself in a completely different world and you're back home in no time!
