The fully renovated Portuguese house Casa Pauline (45 m²) is a wonderfully comfortable and luxurious self‑catered holiday home with two bedrooms and a shared pool for 1‑2 people in a Mediterranean garden in the Algarve, Portugal. 

What does Casa Pauline offer?
The house has been renovated in Portuguese style with the well‑known authentic Portuguese details. Suitable for all ages, also suitable for small families, remote workers and winter stayers.

Thanks to the high wooden ceilings and many windows, the holiday home looks bright and spacious. It offers sea views, its own private Mediterranean garden facing south, and the neighbours’ olive grove.

Air conditioning and floor cooling in summer and comfortable underfloor heating and a cozy wood stove in winter. The floor is covered with original handmade Portuguese Santa Catarina floor tiles.

From the cosy living room you have access to the largest bedroom, the bathroom and the second small bedroom. 

Kitchen
This is equipped with an oven, induction hob, extractor hood, small two‑person dishwasher, wine cooler, coffee machine, kettle, toaster, kitchen linen, crockery, cutlery and a separate large fridge. And of course all the necessities for cooking.  

Bathroom
The bathroom consists of a vanity with a sink. On the floor are Portuguese tiles that are handcrafted by an 83‑year‑old craftsman from the neighbourhood.

Of course, it also has modern underfloor heating for winter! A rain shower with handheld shower, vanity, and toilet complete the bathroom. 

Living room
Here you will find two comfortable armchairs, a three‑seater velvet sofa, a coffee table with marble and glass and a modern carpet.

You can dine at the wooden dining table with four compact handmade dining chairs with linen finish. And not to forget the cosy wood stove; the firewood is already ready.

Large bedroom
This consists of a handmade luxury boxspring with through‑stitched headboard and a 21 cm high hotel‑quality medium‑hardness mattress of 180 cm × 200 cm and a topper.

A wardrobe, a dresser, air conditioning and French doors to your own spacious garden. The bathrobes and bath towels are ready for you!

Small bedroom
It has a single‑person sofa bed (which can be pulled out into a double bed) with a good quality mattress. Also a hanging area for your clothes and a well‑stocked bookcase. Additionally, beside a single bed, a baby crib can be placed.

Garden
The large private Mediterranean garden with terrace is equipped with an umbrella, a lounge set for relaxing outside. Both at the front and at the side of the house there is a terrace and a parking space. 

Common garden
In the common young Mediterranean garden there are mainly plants from the Algarve such as yuccas, cacti and succulents. There are also palms, cypresses and fruit trees.

In this garden you will also find the large gas barbecue where you can grill at will. Eventually a boules court will be added.

Shared pool
Finally the saltwater pool measures 10 × 4 m. It is large enough to swim a few laps or relax on the bench in the water with a glass.

There are sun loungers ready for you under the palms with a view of the Atlantic coast. Let the holiday begin!

Remote work
If you want to combine relaxing with remote work during your stay at Boutique Guesthouse‑Moncarapacho, you can do it here. We provide a good office chair and good WiFi.

Tourist tax
- From May to October, for a maximum of 5 nights, you pay €2 per person per night.
- From November to April, for a maximum of 5 nights, you pay €1 per person per night.
- Children under 16 are exempt from tax.

Decoration
Together with Belgian designers from Concept X Interiors from the neighbouring town of Olhao, our three accommodations are furnished. We are super excited about the result! 

The paintings hanging in our holiday homes were made by Dutch artist Chantal van Leeuwen. She works and lives in the Algarve.

We are fans of her work and are therefore very happy that Chantal has part of her collection hanging in our Guesthouse. These paintings are for sale.
