The fully renovated Portuguese cottage Casa Pauline (45 m2) is a delightfully comfortable and luxurious self-catered holiday home with two bedrooms and a shared pool in a Mediterranean garden in the Algarve, Portugal.

What does Casa Pauline offer?
The cottage has been renovated in Portuguese style with the well-known authentic Portuguese details. Suitable for young and old, also suitable for small families, remote workers and winter residents.

Thanks to the high wooden ceilings and many windows, the holiday home appears light and spacious. It offers views of the sea, its own private Mediterranean garden and the neighbouring olive grove.

Air conditioning and floor cooling in summer, as well as comfortable underfloor heating and a cosy wood-burning stove in winter. The original hand-made Portuguese Santa Catarina floor tiles are laid on the floor.

From the cosy living room, you have access to the largest bedroom, the bathroom and the second small bedroom. 

Kitchen
It is equipped with an oven, induction hob, extractor hood, small two-person dishwasher, wine cooler, coffee maker, kettle, toaster, kitchen linen, crockery, cutlery and a separate large fridge. Of course, all the necessities for cooking are provided.  

Bathroom
The bathroom features a vanity unit with washbasin. The floor is laid with Portuguese tiles crafted by hand by an 83-year-old local craftsman. It also has modern underfloor heating for the winter! A rain shower with handheld showerhead, vanity unit and toilet complete the bathroom. 

Living Room
It includes two comfortable armchairs, a three-seater velour sofa, a coffee table with marble and glass, and a modern carpet. You can dine at the wooden dining table with four compact hand-made dining chairs in a linen look. And of course, there is the cosy wood-burning stove, with logs already prepared.

Large Bedroom
It features a handmade luxury box spring with quilted headboard and a 21 cm high hotel-quality medium-firm mattress (180cmx200cm) with a topper. There is also a wardrobe, a chest of drawers, air conditioning, and French doors leading to the spacious private garden. Bathrobes and bath towels are provided!

Small Bedroom
It has a single sofa bed with a high-quality mattress. There is also a hanging section for clothing and a well-stocked bookcase. A baby cot can be placed here.

Garden
The large private Mediterranean garden with terrace comes with a parasol, table, and comfortable chairs. Both the front and side of the property have terraces and parking spaces. 

Shared Garden
The young shared Mediterranean garden features mainly plants from the Algarve such as yuccas, cacti, and succulents. However, palms, cypresses, and fruit trees are also present.  You will also find a large gas barbecue here where you can grill to your heart’s content. 

Shared Pool
Lastly, the saltwater pool measures 10 by 4 meters. It's large enough for a few laps or to relax on the bench in the water with a glass of something refreshing. Sun loungers are provided under the palms with views of the Atlantic coast. Let the holiday begin!

Tourist Tax
- From May to October, for a maximum of 5 nights, you pay two euros per person per night.
- From November to April, for a maximum of 5 nights, you pay one euro per person per night.
