The fully renovated Portuguese cottage Casa Pauline (45 m2) is a delightful comfortable and luxurious self-catered holiday home with two bedrooms and a shared pool in a Mediterranean garden in the Algarve, Portugal.

What does Casa Pauline offer?
The cottage has been renovated in Portuguese style with the well-known authentic Portuguese details. Suitable for young and old, also suitable for small families, remote workers and overwinterers.

Thanks to the high wooden ceilings and numerous windows, the holiday home appears light and spacious. It offers views of the sea, the private Mediterranean garden and olive grove of the neighbors.

Air conditioning and floor cooling in summer and comfortable underfloor heating and a cozy wood-burning stove in winter. The original handmade Portuguese Santa Catarina floor tiles are laid on the floor.

From the cozy living room you have access to the largest bedroom, the bathroom and the second small bedroom. 

Kitchen
This is equipped with an oven, induction hob, extractor hood, small twin dishwasher, wine cooler, coffee maker, kettle, toaster, kitchen linen, crockery, cutlery and a large separate fridge. And of course all the necessities for cooking.  

Bathroom
The bathroom consists of a vanity unit with washbasin. Portuguese tiles, handcrafted by an 83-year-old local craftsman, are laid on the floor. Of course, it also has modern underfloor heating for the winter! A rain shower with hand shower, vanity unit and toilet complete the bathroom. 

Living room
Here you will find two comfortable armchairs, a three-seater velour sofa, a coffee table with marble and glass and a modern carpet. You can eat at the wooden dining table with four compact handmade dining chairs in a linen look. And of course don't forget the cozy wood-burning stove, the logs are already waiting for you.

Large bedroom
This consists of a handmade luxury box spring with quilted headboard and a 21 cm high hotel quality medium-firm mattress of 180cmx200cm and a topper. There is also a wardrobe, a chest of drawers, air conditioning and French doors leading to the private spacious garden. The bathrobes and bath towels are ready for you!

Small bedroom
This consists of a single sofa bed with a good quality mattress. There is also a hanging section for your clothes and a well-filled bookcase. A baby cot can be placed here.

Garden
The large private Mediterranean garden with terrace is equipped with an umbrella, lounge set to relax outdoors. Both at the front and side of the house there is a terrace and a parking space. 

Shared garden
In the shared young Mediterranean garden you will mainly find plants from the Algarve such as yuccas, cacti and succulents. But palms, cypresses and fruit trees are also present.  You will also find the large gas barbecue here where you can barbecue to your heart's content. 

Shared saltwater pool
Finally, the 10 by 4 meter saltwater pool. Large enough to swim a few lengths or relax on the bench in the water with a glass. Sun loungers are ready for you under the palms with a view of the Atlantic coast. Let the holiday begin!

Tourist tax
- From May-October, for a maximum of 5 nights, you pay two euros per person per night.
- From November-April, for a maximum of 5 nights, you pay one euro per person per night.
