The authentic Portuguese cottage Casa Pauline (45 m2) is a delightful comfortable and luxurious self-catered holiday home with two bedrooms and a shared swimming pool in a Mediterranean garden with sea views in the Algarve, in Portugal.

What does Casa Pauline offer?
The luxurious hotel chic suite has been renovated in Portuguese style with the well-known authentic Portuguese details. Designed by ConceptX Interiors and featuring beautiful paintings by Chantal van Leeuwen.

Suitable for young and old, also suitable for small families, remote workers and winter visitors.

With its high wooden ceilings and numerous windows, the holiday home appears light and spacious. It offers views of the sea, the private Mediterranean garden and the neighbouring olive grove to the south.

Air conditioning and floor cooling in the summer and comfortable underfloor heating and a cozy wood stove in the winter. The original handmade Portuguese Santa Catarina floor tiles are laid on the floor.

From the cozy living room you have access to the largest bedroom, the bathroom and the second small bedroom.

Kitchen
This is equipped with an oven, induction hob, extractor hood, small dishwasher for two people, wine cooler, coffee maker, kettle, toaster, kitchen linen, crockery, cutlery and a separate large fridge. And of course all the necessities to be able to cook.   

Bathroom
The bathroom includes a vanity unit with a washbasin. The floor is covered with Portuguese tiles, handcrafted by an 83-year-old local artisan. Of course, it also features modern underfloor heating for the winter! A rain shower with a handheld showerhead, a vanity unit, and a toilet complete the bathroom.

Living room
Here you will find two comfortable armchairs, a three-seater velour sofa, a coffee table with marble and glass, and a modern carpet. You can eat at the wooden dining table with four compact handmade dining chairs in a linen look. And let's not forget the cozy wood stove, the firewood is already ready.

Large bedroom
This consists of a handmade luxury box spring with quilted headboard and a 21 cm high hotel quality medium-hard mattress of 180cmx200cm and a topper. A wardrobe, a chest of drawers, air conditioning and French doors leading to your own spacious garden. The bathrobes and bath towels are ready for you!

Small bedroom
This consists of a single bed sofa with a good quality mattress. There is also a hanging section for your clothes and a well-stocked bookcase. A baby bed can be placed.

Garden
The large private Mediterranean garden with terrace is equipped with a parasol, table and comfortable chairs. Both at the front and side of the house there is a terrace and a parking space. In the winter months there are sun loungers to enjoy the sun!

Shared garden
In the shared young Mediterranean garden, there are mainly plants from the Algarve such as yuccas, cacti and succulents. But palms, cypresses and fruit trees are also present.   You will also find the large gas barbecue where you can barbecue to your heart's content.  

Finally, the saltwater pool of 10 by 4 meters. Large enough to swim a few lengths or relax on the bench in the water with a glass. Sun loungers are ready for you under the palms with a view of the Atlantic coast. Let the holiday begin!
